Workout at the Beach Blog #4 “Fitting in activities like Golf into your P90X routine”

P90X is a time consuming workout regime but I still try to get some fun activities that also incorporate movement and extra calories to be burn
ed. My favorite choice is golf at The Nags Head Golf Links but during the winter it can be hard to fit in here on the Outer Banks. Often this time of year it is cold and very windy. We bundle up, use cart covers and even wear a silly hat to keep us warm. Yesterday it looked like the weather was not going to corporate for us today in order to get a round in but low and behold the sun came out and the wind settled down just long enough to get nine holes in before the wind, rain and possible snow arrived! We rarely get snow here on the Outer Banks. After my round I relaxed with friends and then went home to do Kenpo. So that makes only 3 more workouts for my first round of P90X! Stretch tomorrow…Hopefully the weather will warm up enough to actually workout at the beach!
